1. Status of This Page
This page explains the current commercial approach. It does not replace the project-specific proposal, Scope of Work, service agreement or Care Plan terms accepted by the parties.
2. Project Types
Ready-to-Build
Predefined product architectures and base functionality provide a faster starting point, with approved configuration, branding, add-ons and integrations.
Custom Development
Software is defined and built around project-specific users, workflows, business rules, integrations and objectives.
Care Plans
Ongoing support, maintenance, monitoring and development options are defined for the period after launch.
3. Scope of Work
Only functionality, deliverables and services expressly identified in an approved Scope of Work are included in a project. The Scope of Work may also identify assumptions, responsibilities, exclusions, dependencies, price, delivery estimates and payment milestones.
Website content, examples, conversations and preliminary configurations do not add requirements to an approved scope unless those requirements are formally included.
4. Ready-to-Build
Ready-to-Build solutions use a predefined architecture and defined base functionality. Optional add-ons can extend the supported product where appropriate.
Website starting prices and configurator totals are indicative. Requirements outside the standard scope, substantial architecture changes or complex integrations may require a custom quotation or a Custom Development route.
5. Custom Development
Custom Development begins with requirements review and, where useful, discovery. Clear Handover Labs then prepares a scope or proposal that identifies the relevant deliverables, assumptions, price, payment structure and estimated delivery schedule.
Final price and timeline are confirmed before development begins.
6. Payment Structure
Typical development projects may use milestone payments, which can include:
- A commencement payment
- A development milestone payment
- A final pre-launch payment
This is a general model rather than a fixed percentage rule for every project. The exact amounts, timing, invoicing terms and commencement conditions are defined in the applicable project agreement.
The Ready-to-Build configurator does not take full project payment or create a checkout.
7. Change Requests
Additional functionality or material changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees, timeline changes and technical review.
Where approval is required, no additional work begins until the change, commercial impact and revised delivery expectations have been agreed.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Depending on the project, the customer may need to provide:
- Content and brand assets
- Timely feedback and approvals
- Credentials and appropriate system access
- Required third-party accounts
- Business rules, policies and operational decisions
- Accurate project information and suitable test data
Customer delays, incomplete information or unavailable dependencies may affect delivery estimates.
9. Third-Party Costs
Unless expressly included, external provider fees remain separate from Clear Handover Labs project pricing. These can include Apple and Google programmes, hosting or cloud infrastructure, domains, business email, SMS, WhatsApp, AI providers, Stripe or other payment gateways, maps, and other APIs or software.
Provider prices are not fixed on this page because they may vary by provider, account, region and usage.
10. 30-Day Launch Warranty
Clear Handover Labs will address defects in delivered functionality that prevent it from operating according to the agreed Scope of Work for 30 days following production launch.
The warranty does not automatically include:
- New functionality or new requirements
- Third-party provider changes
- Customer-caused issues
- Content changes
- Major design changes
- Functionality outside the approved scope
The project agreement may provide further detail about reporting, assessment and remedy.
11. Care Plans
Care Plans may cover ongoing maintenance, support, hosting allowances, development capacity, AI or integration monitoring, configuration and other agreed services depending on the selected plan.
“From” pricing does not mean unlimited infrastructure usage, API usage, support or development. The plan scope defines allowances, response expectations, usage limits and exclusions.
12. Intellectual Property
Ownership, source-code access, licensing, reusable components, third-party components and transfer rights are defined in the applicable project agreement. This page does not make a blanket promise that every element of a project will be transferred without conditions.
13. Cancellation & Termination
Cancellation, termination, refunds, notice requirements and treatment of work already performed are governed by the signed project agreement. They are not replaced by this website summary.
